Sullair Debuts New OFS Series Compressors

Company also releases new centrifugal lubricants
Sullair has expanded its oil-free portfolio as well as its lubricant offerings. The company added the OFS series, which is a new line of oil-free rotary screw air compressors in two frame sizes – 100 to 200 hp (74.5 to 149 kW) and 250 to 350 hp (186 to 261 kW).
The OFS series compressors, which are ISO 8573-1 Class 0 certified, feature an asymmetrical profile coated with a PTFE corrosion-resistant coating. Anti-friction bearings are supplied on the air side to provide an L10 life of more than 100,000 hours, the company said.
The new series is available with an optional integrated variable speed drive, which offers up to 60% turn down from full load. The series also incorporates an updated controller (a Sullair WS input/output module paired with a new user interface panel). The controller controls and monitors the compressor, as well as providing built-in sequencing capabilities for automatic load sharing and continuously displaying functions and alarms on a backlit LED screen.
Sullair’s latest lubricants – the CCL family – are formulated for the company’s centrifugal compressors. The lubricants include the CCL I, CCL II and CCL Plus. The CCL 1 is a mineral-based lubricant designed for use in the T2, TX and TRA series compressors. The CCL II, also a mineral-based lubricant, works with the TRE, TRX and T3 series of compressors, while the CCL Plus, a synthetic lubricant, is designed for all T-series centrifugal compressors.
